turn the page
went to see the passion of the christ last night, cinematically the film was very good, i thought the acting was very good, and no big stars meant helped keep the main focus on the acting and interraction between actors. the film used subtitles as the script was entirely aramaic and latin, which was interesting i thought. it was violent. but this is to be expected, the whole film was jesus slowly being tortured to death and the harrowing brutality of the romans became hard to watch. there are some more insightful reviews here. didnt do much at all yesterday despite the great weather, it really felt like summer which was nice.
Sunday
carabbit
well well, the clocks are forward and this supposedly means summer has begun (in a sense), yesterday i went to chester and observed clarky do a perfect bunnyhop whip to the pedals, although i only saw the to the pedals bit and not the whole whip, clarky assured me it was grand though.
Saturday
another night

not much to say, did some stuff yesterday, rode bones for 3 hrs with gaz, gaz took some pictures of me, i felt tired, i went to bed.

Thursday
funhouse
hello people that look at this website. the photo is of the droplets of water left on my window after rain, and the sun has brightened up, i thought it was striking due to the camera being pointed directly at the sun and there being hardly any flare, i put that down to a 50mm lens...
today has been weird, it went really quickly and i daydreamed a lot, i watched the film "the eye" which was apparently the most scary film since the excorcist, but i really didnt find it scary, plus it finished with a happy ending which is not allowed with horror films in my books (or should i say films?). i am still reading papillon, which really is a great book but i seem to be making slow progress with it which is rather frustrating...
day off tommorow, both lessons cancelled so bonanza for me. we'll see what the day brings, this week seems to have raced along.
Wednesday
wosstersoss
the above subject is gidge at whitebridge, once again taken from the patented whitebridge photo angle.
yesterday was nice, i ate little rode lots and weather was nice. tommy tried this for ages and we ate ice-cream from t'ice-cream van which was nice, we then went to bones and subway.
Tuesday
an update?
sorry about not having updated for sunday and monday, but i have been busy (seriously!).
sunday consisted of: diddling around, riding and starsky & hutch. Starsky & Hutch was an excellent film, it kept me laughing most of the time as there were some clever bits...
rode bones on sunday too, it was a little weird as this guy from salford uni was filming us, and it made me and everyone else feel a little self concious, it annoyed me somehow as well as it seemed like he did a lot of things wrong in terms of his approach and generally just the sort of "ooh that looks interesting I'll pluck what i like from that little scene and make a video of it" attitude that some filmers tend to have, without regards to whom they are filming and whether or not they want to be filmed in the first place...
so ranting over, monday i had my sainsbury's induction which lasted three and a half hours, which seemed a little excessive for an induction, and a little tiring. today has been review day so basically a day off college, which is nice seeing as the weather is lovely.
the above photos were taken in january or february? on a cold night in manchester at white bridge, respect to gaz for doing at least fifteen barspin 180's for me to take pictures of and mess about with camera gear etc.
Saturday
more flowers
well i decided to do some proper photos of the amaryllis. today has been relatively slow, not much got done really, the weather was full on and props 51 is dire.
Friday
know your onion
well i saw this sky today and thought it was very spectacular, i have no clue what it is but it was quite impressive. if anyone knows what this cloud formation is email away so i can edit like i know what it is...
this is pretty interesting, lauren produced this magazine which is more than 30 years old, and the magazine is still going now, check the comparison.
Thursday
fighting in a sack
well to put a twist on things i've decided to now put the writing beneath the photo for some reason, but i like it this way. and so a coherently themed picture with the upside down writing (bet you didnt guess that one...) , the photo is of an amaryllis plant and a sunset funnily enough, both taken today.
so apparently chicks dig scars? so here is barney's effort, the scar was made by the foul blade of surgery when the plate was put in as the result of a spiral fracture...
Tuesday
c'est la vie
that title would have sounded quite trendy and cosmopolitan had the idea not derived from a song by the popular irish group, bewitched who used to top the charts back in the late 90's.
the demolition behind our house is underway, and also an asbestos removal brigade...
i'll try to get some arty photos of the rubble behind our house, which has an uncanny resemblence to the aftermath of a large bomb. the "lads" are still in malaga and not magalufe, but will be back come thursday eve. well for some easy reading here's my top 5 songs at this point in time, people, email me your top 5 and we can have some variation to me on this shizzle.
1. grade - a year in the past forever in the future
2. danzig - mother
3. built to spill - i try (macy gray cover)
4. the shins - so says i
5. tlc - unpretty
well there you go, now lets have some content relevant to the domain-name.
the photo is of tommy i think on the way to leeds sometime in december.

well i got a job doing stuff at sainsburys, not amazing but money...
back to college after a long weekend tommorow, but i am looking forward to it for some bizarre reason. i have a cut on my thumb and it won't heal boo hoo.
here's a photo of mummy's hands.

Friday
walk like an egyptian
a photo of the kitchen table...
Thursday
splash distortion
this is another of the night shots, it is a photo of a puddle and the reflection of a streetlight in it. went to bones again today, it was nice and quiet again. hopefully i might be able to ride with someone at the weekend as the skatepark is a little boring.
night of the living dead
here's another photo of my street this time from the top of my dads car.
Tuesday
bonsai bonanza? botanical brilliance?
well continuing with the plant theme here's some lil photos of my new bonsai tree, i thought it was dying but its ok now i think. well now that my friends have all migrated for 10 days i have been left with little more than boredom, so to try and fight the frustrating bore i have managed to occupy myself for most of the hours of today - which was nice. college took over from 9 til 4, then i rode to bones and rode like the lone ranger for about 2 hours, sean then made a visit to bones so we made verbal exchange a little, and i bought some new shoes! it is a good day for my feet, but also quite sad to see the ol' ninja slippers go, they have protected my feet from the elements for more than 18 months now so my feet are now finding their feet (sorry) in new shoes. i also sprayed my bike a lovely black so its all pretty blacked up now. oh yeah i bought a jumper from decathlon for £3 yesterday - cashback.
so here's the photos allready...boom boom
so here's the photos allready...boom boom
Monday
gathering darkness
here's some photos of a cactus flower i took yesterday, the lads are off to malaga so jealousy reigns.
Sunday
ready or not
well today is a sunday which roughly translates to lazy i think. yesterday went t'town with lads and watched robocop which was most fun. i took this picture last night, for all you tech-heads the exposure was 15 secs and at f2.8 to let in the light from the rain, its a worms eye view looking down my road from my hoose.
Friday
tomfoolery
not a lot to say about these photo's except remembering Tommy saying "i've groined my strain" at one point. i am mega tired so its off to bed now, it seems a lot of late nights are catching up with me...
Thursday
stockport shennanigans
went to stockport today, rode a bit of street then did some acrobatics of a different kind, i'll do a proper collage of that stuff and post it soon, anyhoo, we got our details taken by a police officer and i took some mugshots!
left to right: gaz, clarky, matt, tommy, me.

Wednesday
notorious
not that the title has anything to do with today's post, cool word nontheless.
anyway, another picture of a cat.
anyway, another picture of a cat.
Tuesday
triumph over tragedy
has been the song of today, the art mockery went nicely today, the weather has been great and manchester has once again proved why we enjoy not riding there sometimes. so if anyone sees a gold mk 2 terribleone get in touch with me or anyone that knows sean.
so this picture is undeniably grainy (noisy really) due to me taking it on iso 400, but trust me, it was a good sunset, you can see the rain sweeping down from the clouds (if only the picture was as good)...

Monday
under the milky way
well i took this photograph just before the joe mugshots, its some typewriter ribbon that was devoid of ink. this is a mid art-project post as i'm doing some prep for a mock tommorow. the return key isn't working so some of the writing layout in the posts may look a little odd, if you have an antidote for the uncontrollable key email me.
