france
i returned to sunny manchester last night from lodeve in france yesterday, the region was near montpellier in the south. the weather was lovely most of the time and the pool + house were excellent. i spent most of my time there reading the 3 books i took, these were Hermann Hesse "the journey to the east", George Orwell "homage to catalonia" and Voltaire "candide". these were all good reads and i recommend them. so today i have been unpacking and repacking for barcelona tommorow, i shall no doubt post various summer photos when i get home and am consumed by boring winter, but now there is sun and that means get off computer.

it's all in your head
today i have been overwhelmingly exhausted all day so i have remained mostly horizontal, the above is a sleep inspired photo. Sean has started a new Gain-online website with Tomb, i added a link at the top of the photo links section, have a look at it now.

mike looks away in disapproval over laurence's big barnet. it was hot and then it rained today. i went to marple and sat on the grass and looked at powers' pink bike and thought about freshly cut grass and plane tickets.
